Welcome back to another skincare empties lineup as promised. If you caught my previous empties post, then you know that the purpose of this series is to show you what I have been using up lately and give an honest, short explanation on whether they are worth repurchasing or not. Since then, I have accumulated a brand new batch of empties for the month of October.
In today’s post, we are looking at Korean skincare products I completely used up recently. Just like last time, I am sharing my honest thoughts on each item, focusing on what is genuinely worth a repurchase versus what I am passing on. (You can also check out my current morning skincare routine to see how I use my daily products).
October Korean Skincare Empties & Verdicts
1. COSRX – Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream (100ml)
(Repurchase)

Why: This hyaluronic acid cream truly works the way it is supposed to, replenishing water in the skin because that is exactly what it feels like. This is my holy grail for combating dryness and texture because it provides deep hydration and plumps the skin. It is slightly thicker than the COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream, so I mainly use it as a night cream, though it can be used during the day. The Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream always leaves my skin looking youthful and radiant the next morning.

2. BEAUTY OF JOSEON – Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics / Niacinamide SPF50+ PA++++ (50ml)
(Repurchase)
Why: In my first skincare empties post, I mentioned there are only two Korean sunscreens that I swear by, and this is the second one. The Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun does not leave a white cast on my skin. It is lightweight, a bit thicker in consistency compared to the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel. However, it is nourishing and absorbs into the skin completely while protecting it.

3. SKIN1004 – Madagascar Centella Ampoule Foam (125ml)
(Repurchase)

Why: I am not picky when it comes to cleansers; however, I do prefer a foam cleanser that is rich in lather, and the Madagascar Centella Ampoule Foam cleanser is just that. It does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry upon rinsing it off. It cleanses my skin without stripping away its natural moisture, leaving my face feeling clean and calm.

4. Numbuzin – No.5 Goodbye Blemish Serum (50ml)
(Repurchase)
Why: This formula focuses on clearing up dark spots and brightening the skin gently. It gradually targets my goals of evening out my complexion and fading hyperpigmentation, all while giving it a natural, radiant glow.

5. Make P:rem – Safe Me. Relief Moisture Cleansing Foam (150ml)
(Repurchase)
Why: This is a gentle, low-pH cleanser that I reach for as the second step in my evening routine. It does a really good job of cleansing impurities that have built up throughout the day without leaving my skin feeling irritated or dry afterward. It lathers up beautifully and feels super calm and soothing on the skin.

6. APLB – Glutathione Niacinamide Ampoule Serum (40ml)
(I would purchase with my own money)
Why: I received this full-sized serum as a free gift with a previous order, so finishing it made me ask myself: would I actually spend my own money to buy it? Ultimately, I would buy this because it is formulated to support the skin barrier while targeting dark spots. It helps to even out the complexion, leaving my skin looking refined and radiant. If you deal with hyperpigmentation but still want something that keeps your skin barrier feeling calm and strong, this is definitely worth adding to your cart.

7. SKIN1004 – Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil (30ml)
(Repurchase)
Why: I picked up the travel size to test out a new cleansing oil, and it absolutely delivered. Because of that, I have already gone ahead and repurchased the full-sized 200ml bottle. It has a lightweight formula that is extremely gentle on the skin. It effortlessly lifts away impurities and makeup, and it rinses off easily without leaving any heavy residue behind. Ultimately, it leaves my skin feeling soft, clean, and completely refreshed.
