This post is long overdue mainly because… if I am being completely honest with you, life. However, we move forward.
First of all, I wanted to introduce a product haul to my platform and share with you my recent purchases. Although I was unable to complete my order due to the product being unavailable or out of stock, or the shipping cost was ridiculously overpriced, I still wanted to follow through with the haul and show you the products that I have picked up.
Disclaimer: these products were purchased in August and September but for content purposes let’s presume that they were purchased this month (lol).
OCTOBER HAUL
Melanin Haircare African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo 16Oz | 19.89 USD
The first product I purchased is the newest edition to the Melanin Haircare collection, the Melanin Haircare African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo which was released on August 28, 2020.
The African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo is designed to instantly lather: cleansing the hair and scalp without stripping away its natural oil. The shampoo is formulated with ingredients intended to moisturize, condition, and enhance hair elasticity and flexibility. As well as soothe and revitalize the scalp to promote hair growth, reduce hair loss, strengthen hair and, at the same time, illuminate a healthy sheen.
I have yet to try the African Black Soap Reviving Shampoo, so look forward to an upcoming product review.
Melanin Haircare Multi-use Softening Leave In Conditioner 16Oz | 18.99 USD
Next, I purchased the Melanin Haircare Multi-Use Softening Leave In Conditioner.
The Multi-Use Softening Leave In Conditioner is designed to smooth, instantly detangle, and helps to repair the hair from the roots to end. It is formulated with high-quality and key ingredients specifically intended to condition and strengthen the hair.
The Multi-Use Softening Leave In Conditioner is, without a doubt, my favorite product from the Melanin Haircare collection, and the only, I repeat ONLY leave-in conditioner that I currently use.
If you are in search of a leave-in conditioner, I highly recommend this one. For a full product review, check out my Melanin Haircare: Multi-use Softening Leave In Conditioner Review.
Initially, I had planned to purchase two leave-in conditioners; however, at the time of purchase, the product was limited to one per customer. They have since then increased the limit to three per customer.
Head over to Melanin Haircare and get yourself one, two, or three of the Multi-Use Softening Leave In Conditioner. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.
Camille Rose Naturals Algae Renew Deep Conditioner 8Oz | 28.99 CAD
The third item I got was the Camille Rose Naturals Algae Renew Deep Conditioner.
*Cue hallelujah chorus*
The Camille Rose Algae Renew Deep Conditioner is in every way a luxurious treatment. It is infused with blue green algae which is loaded with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. This rich and creamy conditioner contains emollients (cocoa, mango and shea butter) for its moisturizing and protective properties as a means to prevent strands from breaking, shedding and thinning. This conditioner leaves the hair looking shiny and healthy while feeling strong and protected.
*Mini Rant* A Message from Me (For Your Information)
Let me keep it one hundred with you, I have a love hate relationship with the Camille Rose Naturals Algae Renew Deep Conditioner, and I just might be the only person in North America who is in their feelings…But I don’t understand why I can never get my hands on the Camille Rose Algae Renew Deep Conditioner here in Edmonton, AB (Canada). Like, what’s really good? It is literally impossible. Do they not distribute to Beauty Supply stores in Alberta?
Nonetheless, big shout-out to my brother for going out of his way to ship me the Camille Rose Naturals Algae Renew Deep Conditioner from Toronto. (funny enough, it was the last one on hand).
Let me explain: I…
[✓] tried searching the item on Amazon (failed)
[✓] attempted to order directly from the Camille Rose website; however, shipping was overpriced (failed)
[✓] checked in-store and online Walmart (CA), not available (failed)
[✓] set out to place an online order at Sally Beauty (USA); and was prompted with a ”unable to ship item to AB, Canada” message (failed)
[✓] searched Sally Beauty (CA) for the item and to my surprise, no search results found (failed)
I have been using the Camille Rose Naturals Algae Renew Deep Conditioner before I moved to Edmonton, AB (canada) and I absolutely LOVE this product. I co-sign it. I recommend it. Get it if you can. And if you can’t, let me put you on the Shea Moisture’s Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Hair Masque.
Having said that, the inaccessibility is a no for me.
Camille Rose Naturals Curlaide Moisture Butter (2 qty) 8Oz | 28.99 CAD (ea.)
Lastly, I purchased two of the Camille Rose Naturals Curlaide Moisture Butters (again, shout-out to my brother for coming through with the shipping).
Camille Rose Naturals Curlaide Moisture Butter is by far at the top of my list as far as moisturizing products goes. The Curlaide Moisture Butter provides maximum moisture and curl definition, combating dry and frizzy hair for a more healthy, youthful and radiant appearance.
The Curlaide Moisture Butter is an oil-enriched softening hair butter, formulated to deliver intensive moisture daily. The Curlaide Moisture Butter is blended with emollients that is packed with plenty of vitamins and minerals that aid to nourish, hydrate, soften and strengthen the hair.
If you have not tried the Camille Rose Naturals Curlaide Moisture Butter, what are you waiting for?
