First and foremost, I am excited to share with you my first hair review featuring Amazing Beauty Hair. “This post is not sponsored” (Lol, I have always wanted to say that) although, I wish it was. I did spend my hard earned coins on this particular hair, and I am not complaining until it gives me a reason to.
But before anything else, let me set the expectations on what I will be covering here. This post will be divided into three series: (1) Unboxing/First Impression, (2) Hair Maintenance (wash process), and (3) One Month Post/ Final Review.
Being that this is the first series out of three, I wanted to introduce Amazing Beauty Hair, and address any questions you may have in mind pertaining to my recent order. Let us jump right into it, shall we?
Discovery of Amazing Beauty Hair
In less than 24 hours, I will be traveling. And like any women, one of the first questions that come to mind is: “what am I going to do with my hair?” Since November of last year, my go-to protective hairstyle while on vacation has been Havana Twists. This time around, I was opposed to the idea of locking myself in the bathroom.
Initially, the plan was to wear my hair in its natural state (but let’s be honest, all I ever do is style my hair in a low bun). Having fine and low to medium density hair restricts me from attaining certain hairstyles versus thick and high density hair. I like having options when it comes to styling my hair. If it comes down to my signature “low bun style,” I would settle because wearing wig or a weave would not be an option for me to achieve a style with volume.
Then, it occurred to me to invest in some Hair Clip-in Extensions that would blend seamlessly with my hair texture (duh!). Not to add: they are cost effective, low maintenance, easy to install; adding volume and thickness to those with fine hair, and versatile.
Being as how I was not familiar with hair companies that specialized in textured clip-in extensions other than Her Hair Given, I decided to explore other companies. And of course, watching a few hair reviews on YouTube helped with my purchase decision. I discovered two YouTubers who convinced me to explore alternative hair companies from their detailed video review.

First, BeautyWithPrincess, who uploads hair related content, as well as beauty and lifestyle. BeautyWithPrincess shared a video on her channel, titled “Clip Ins For Natural 4B/4C” demonstrating how she installs her clip-ins from hair company, BetterLength.
She Keels:
And, She Keels, who uploads hair related content and makeup tutorials. She Keels shared an informative, detailed review on hair company Amazing Beauty Hair, titled the following: “Natural Hair Clip In Extensions from Amazon,” “Natural Hair Clip In Extensions from Amazon! 6 Week Update,” and Amazing Beauty Hair Clip In Extensions; as well as BetterLength, titled “Better Length Hair Kinky Coarse Clip Ins Unboxing and Review.”
Based on their videos, it prompted me to look into the companies further and make my final decision on which hair company I would purchase from (Her Hair Given, BetterLength or Amazing Beauty Hair). Obviously, from the title and the frugal individual I am, I decided on Amazing Beauty Hair.

Note: I realized after receiving my order that I had ordered the wrong hair texture. I purchased the Clip-in Hair Extension Afro Kinky Curly instead of Kinky Coily.
Afro Kinky Curly VS Kinky Coily:
According to Amazing Beauty Hair, the Afro Kinky Curly blends best with those who have 4A/4B textures or whose texture is between 4A/AB. Whereas, Afro Kinky Coily blends with 4B/4C.
Please make sure to read the ‘Product Info’ prior to submitting your order to ensure you order the correct hair. Do not rely solely on the pictures. It is easy to mistaken certain clip-ins for the wrong texture as they look quite similar in images.

The Afro Kinky Curly is 100% Remy human hair (unprocessed). Each unit comes in a set of 7 pieces, weighing 100g/per set.

I am usually good at paying attention to details; however, I noticed things I did not notice during the sale process. For example, the hair texture, and now the currency. For some, it may not be a big deal but no one likes to be surprised when the checkout amount is not what appears on their credit card statement. Be aware.

You are getting two sets of extension for the price of one that you would purchase from another hair company – something to consider when placing your next hair order.
Shipping:
Amazing Beauty Hair provides FREE and fast shipping, worldwide (some restrictions apply – see their shipping policy for more information). I was very impressed with how quickly I received my package, especially during the holiday season. My order was placed on December 14th and was processed right away. DHL delivered my package on December 18th. Although shipping is free, I was required to pay DHL Duties, taxes and fees. Therefore, keep in mind that you may be charged by your Custom Authority.
Unboxing
What is Inside ?
Inside the DHL package contained two Amazing Beauty Hair Extension boxes. Inside each box had the following:
- Hair extensions in a clear PVC pouch bag
- 1x Amazing Beauty Hair crocodile hair clip
- 1x Amazing Beauty Hair tail comb
- 2x Metal stainless steel clips
- And in one of the boxes contained a “Thank You” postcard (which included washing, daily care, and return policy instructions)
I did not like the fact that the extensions were not labeled when taking into account I purchased two different lengths. It would have been helpful if they were labeled, for me. It is the small things that matter (#SmallThingsMatter).
First Impression
Disclaimer: this first impression is merely based on the Afro Kinky Curly hair extensions straight out of the packaging. The hair has not been washed, no products added or styled. Stay tuned for the upcoming parts of this series.
Appearance:
The hair was a nice afro curly texture; however, the curls are too loose for my hair. The hair was thick and full, had a natural shine, and elasticity.
Colour:
The Afro Kinky Curly is in the color natural black (colour #1B) but it appears brown (colour #2) when directed in light.
Odor:
The extensions smelled like any hair you would purchase from any hair company. After the first wash, and some products I am confident it would smell fine.
Feel:
The extensions felt soft, and plush and it definitely had a luxurious feel. I liked it.
