I have been gone for a minute now, but I am back at it with some new hair products from BlackHairandSkincare that I am so excited to try out and possibly share a review at a later date. Until then, I thought it would be necessary to share these products for you to consider when exploring black-owned businesses to support.

BlackHairandSkincare is a black-owned business which was established in 2016 by Founder CEO, Charmaine Allen. BlackHairandSkincare is renowned for producing raw organic hair and skincare products. They are committed to ensuring customers are provided with top-tier products while focusing on quality, dependability, uniqueness and customer service.
About Charmaine Allen
I found out about BlackHairandSkincare products from YouTuber, Toni Daley, and have witnessed how selected products have aided in the health and growth of her hair. However, what resonated with me was Charmaine Allen’s story.
Charmaine Allen, Founder CEO of BlackHairandSkincare was diagnosed with Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia (CCCA), a form of scarring alopecia on the scalp that results in permanent hair loss. With very few treatment options available, and the lack of results, Charmaine was prompted to take control of the situation. Charmaine created her own product, eliminating toxins and harsh chemicals in exchange to focus on maintaining a healthy scalp and hair for improved growth.
Against all the odds, Charmaine created her own product which encapsulates her story. She reclaimed her crown and has helped others regain their confidence.
Haul
In my most recent Natural Hair post, I shared an update of the current state of my hair and the products I intended to use, as well as new products I would incorporate into my regimen – to recover the health and strength of my hair. But truth be told, the products are not giving the same results that it used to and, with that being said, it is time to try something new.
How about we get into this BlackHairandSkincare product haul featuring the Sydney Nicole Products line?

The first item I purchased was a trio set which includes: The Hair Growth Conditioner, Raw African Black Soap Hair Growth Shampoo, and the Organic Hair Growth Oil valued at $77.00 CAD. Out of the products mentioned in today’s haul, I am most excited to try out the Organic Hair Growth Oil.
